Letter from the Leadership
Just last week a young man in the 7th grade who had been battling poor grades, poor behavior, and a series of discipline problems with his teachers gave his life to Christ. Nearing the end of his rope, I asked him if he thought he had what it takes to change. He said he did. I informed him that he did not, and that his best efforts would fall short, just as mine would. I talked to him about Jesus and Christ\'s desire to change him, to guide him, and to lead him on the right path. We talked about sin and its effects on everything we do (even our good deeds). After nearly 30 minutes of discussion the young man announced that he wanted Christ to enter his life, to take his sin, and to take control. Most of my time is spent disciplining students, but I praise God for the times He has allowed me to serve as the vessel for truth and liberation for a soul. Please pray that God would break generational curses in this school, but pray also that the curse of sin would be shattered as well.
